Privacy Policy
Effective October 3, 2026
- We read your ServiceTitan data (and QuickBooks Online, if you connect it) only to build the reports you asked for, and send them only to the people you choose.
- We don't sell your data, rent it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
- You can revoke our access at any time from your own ServiceTitan or QuickBooks settings, and ask us to delete everything we hold.
- This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking.
Who we are
FieldOps is an owner's reporting tool for trades businesses that run on ServiceTitan, based in Austin, Texas. In this policy, "we" means FieldOps, and "you" means the business that signs up, along with the people at that business who receive our reports. Questions go to info@fieldops.link.
This website
- No cookies, analytics, or tracking. fieldops.link doesn't set cookies or load analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts.
- Early access form. Submitting the form opens a pre-filled email in your own mail app. Nothing is sent to us until you hit send, and then we receive only what's in that email.
- Hosting and fonts. The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser, and pages requested) to operate and secure the service. Fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers when the page loads.
What the service accesses
When you connect FieldOps, you authorize access from your own ServiceTitan account and, optionally, your QuickBooks Online account. We access:
- ServiceTitan business records: jobs, appointments and technician assignments, invoices, payments, estimates, memberships, campaigns, and call records. These include your customers' names, service addresses, and phone numbers, and the notes and summaries on jobs and invoices.
- Your team: technician and staff names, roles, and the pay and burden rates you give us for the owner's efficiency report.
- QuickBooks Online (optional): income, expense, and invoice data used for the owner's margin reporting.
- What you tell us during setup: who receives each report, your targets, and your membership plan names.
FieldOps does not change your ServiceTitan or QuickBooks records. It doesn't create, edit, or delete jobs, invoices, customers, or payments. We don't collect payment card numbers. Card and bank details stay in ServiceTitan and QuickBooks.
How we use it
Only to produce and deliver the reports and alerts you set up, and to support and improve FieldOps for you. That covers things like checking a number you've questioned, or fixing a report that came out wrong. We don't sell or rent your data, share it with advertisers, combine it with other companies' data, or use it to train AI models.
Who sees it
- The people you choose. You set the recipient list for each report. Owner-only reports with financials go only to the owner addresses you name.
- Each technician sees only their own card. Tech and Comfort Advisor cards are sent to that one person and never to a group.
- Service providers we use to run FieldOps, only as far as each one is needed:
- Hosting and storage.
- Email delivery.
- Text message delivery.
- Slack, if you choose Slack delivery.
- Ranqly Comms, if you turn on its job-chat integration. FieldOps posts job alerts and questions into your Ranqly job channels.
- Vercel, which hosts this site and stores technicians' encrypted journal entries.
- When required by law. We disclose data if a valid legal process requires it. Where we're allowed to, we'll tell you first.
Technician answers
If your business uses the Ranqly Comms integration, FieldOps can ask a technician in the job's chat why a job was billed at $0. Ranqly writes their answer to the ServiceTitan job as a note, where your office can see it, and FieldOps uses it in your reports.
Technician journals
FieldOps offers each technician a private weekly journal. It's built so that only the technician can read it:
- Encrypted on the technician's device. Each entry is encrypted in their browser with a key made from a passphrase only they know, before it's sent. We store only the encrypted version.
- Nobody else can read it. Not your company's managers or owners, and not FieldOps. We can't decrypt it, and no report includes it.
- No recovery. We never receive the passphrase, so we can't reset it. A forgotten passphrase means the entries can't be opened.
- The technician controls it. They can build a summary on their device and send it to whoever they choose, and they can delete the whole journal at any time.
We do see that a journal exists and when entries were saved, but never what they say. Encrypted entries are stored with Vercel.
How long we keep it
- While you're a customer, we keep a copy of each report we sent. That way, if someone asks about a number weeks later, we can show what they actually received.
- If you cancel, we stop pulling data immediately. We delete your data and stored reports within 30 days of your request, except where the law requires us to keep something longer.
Security
Access credentials are kept out of our code and limited to the people who operate FieldOps. Data moves over encrypted connections. Each report goes only to its named recipients. No system is perfectly secure, though. If we learn of a breach affecting your data, we'll tell you promptly.
Your choices
- Revoke access at any time: disconnect FieldOps in your ServiceTitan or QuickBooks settings. Reports stop with the next scheduled run.
- Change recipients, or stop any single report, by emailing us.
- Ask for a copy or deletion of the data we hold about your business or about you. Email info@fieldops.link.
Information about your customers belongs to your business. If one of your customers asks us about their data, we'll refer them to you and help you respond.
Children
FieldOps is a business tool. It isn't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date above and email current customers before it takes effect.
